New project to create library of tree data

World Forest ID, a project involving Agroisolab, is currently being rolled out across several countries in order to create a database of tree isotopes for origin testing.

Using the Agroisolab-created Pickering Punch and sample kits, samples are being taken from areas such as Gabon, and then transfered to Kew Gardens in London. From there, samples will be passed to Agroisolab in order to create the databases for each species of tree, and assist in testing suspected illegal timber.
